Journey To Cameroon ~~ By Regina Vaughn

The most moving part of the journey to Cameroon was the "pilgrimage " to the  Bimbia Slave Port.  It is believed that a third of the enslaved people from present day Cameroon came through Bimbia.   Further research tell us 35% of Africans  taken to the Americas were from the areas of present day Nigeria and Cameroon.

Go to our group's Facebook page "Time is Elastic," scroll down to the BBC interviews:  I am on the interview dated 12.30.10.  Also please listen to the tribal elder apologize and admit the African role in the slave trade.  At the water's edge I  channeled my female ancestors, unplanned and unscripted: it was an out of body experience.
